New in the chilled section: Greek-style yoghurt with 2% fat

From May, Milchwerke Schwaben eG is expanding its range with a new Greek-style yoghurt containing just 2% fat. Packaged in a handy 1,000g tub, it offers a lighter alternative to the brand’s popular 10% cream yoghurt and is aimed at anyone who appreciates mindful indulgence. The product will be available in shops nationwide at a recommended retail price of €2.89.

Creamy, mild and versatile

This 2% fat yoghurt impresses with its light, creamy texture, a subtle hint of tartness and a clean, mild flavour profile. It can be enjoyed on its own or with fruit, served for breakfast or used as a versatile base for light desserts and snacks.

Milchwerke Schwaben uses only milk from regional farms in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg – certified to the QM++ standard – in its production. The yoghurt is free from gelatine and preservatives and is sold in a recyclable pot with a resealable lid. This supports a sustainable packaging solution and ensures longer-lasting freshness.

Attractive incentives for retailers and consumers

The 1,000g value tub scores highly with its family-friendly size and strong, season-independent sales potential. Retail partners benefit from a compelling range extension – consumers gain a creamy option in the lower-fat segment.

“With our 2% Greek-style yoghurt, we are offering a modern alternative for everyone who loves creamy yoghurt whilst also looking to maintain a balanced diet,” explains Davor Sikanja, Head of Sales and Marketing at Milchwerke Schwaben eG. “This appeals to both nutrition-conscious connoisseurs and frequent consumers and families – and offers an additional choice for a variety of moments of enjoyment.”

A strong new addition to the range

With this new yoghurt product, the dairy cooperative is adding a versatile option to its portfolio that combines regional origin, high quality standards and modern nutrition – produced in Neu-Ulm.
