About us

Since 1922 – Strong together.

Since 1922, Milchwerke Schwaben eG has stood for regional quality, responsibility, and a strong sense of community. As a registered dairy cooperative, our farmers are not just milk suppliers but they are also co-owners of the dairy.

This cooperative model creates trust, transparency, and long-term stability: values that have defined our dairy’s success for over 100 years.

This is also reflected in our democratic corporate structure: Our more than 1,100 members elect 4 executive board members, 8 supervisory board members, and 13 advisory council members. The supervisory board appoints the managing executive board, Dr. Johann Meier.

Quality Management

Quality is no accident – it is our commitment.

At Milchwerke Schwaben, quality and product safety are our top priorities. In our own chemical and microbiological laboratory, we test raw milk, additives and finished products – supplemented by external analyses. All processes are comprehensively monitored, documented and continuously optimised on the basis of our certified quality management system (DIN EN ISO 9001) and an integrated HACCP concept.

Proof of our success: in the DLG quality test for milk and dairy products, we were awarded 33 gold medals for the outstanding quality of our products.
