Key Account Manager for Food Retail and Discount (m/f/d)
What to expect
As a full-time Key Account Manager for Food Retail and Discount, you will have full responsibility for managing a key account in the brick-and-mortar retail and/or discount sector, covering both national and international business for the brand and private label. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting annual reviews and tenders, as well as coordinating with internal stakeholders
- Managing the product portfolio in the white and yellow goods segments, with a focus on profit-driven development of the ranges, taking into account category, customer and value-added potential
- Driving product portfolio optimisation and innovation in close collaboration with sales management
- Monitoring and managing customer performance based on KPIs
- Systematically developing new customer business
- Analysing the market, competition and product ranges, and identifying sales opportunities
- Handling market research data from various sources
You are a great fit!
- A degree in business administration or equivalent commercial training
- Ideally, professional experience as a Key Account Manager in FMCG, preferably in processed foods or other major food segments
- Knowledge of the structures and processes in brick-and-mortar retail and/or discount retail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Confident manner with a strong ability to inspire and motivate
- Very good knowledge of MS Office
