What to expect

As a full-time Key Account Manager for Food Retail and Discount, you will have full responsibility for managing a key account in the brick-and-mortar retail and/or discount sector, covering both national and international business for the brand and private label. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting annual reviews and tenders, as well as coordinating with internal stakeholders
  2. Managing the product portfolio in the white and yellow goods segments, with a focus on profit-driven development of the ranges, taking into account category, customer and value-added potential
  3. Driving product portfolio optimisation and innovation in close collaboration with sales management
  4. Monitoring and managing customer performance based on KPIs
  5. Systematically developing new customer business
  6. Analysing the market, competition and product ranges, and identifying sales opportunities
  7. Handling market research data from various sources

You are a great fit!

  1. A degree in business administration or equivalent commercial training
  2. Ideally, professional experience as a Key Account Manager in FMCG, preferably in processed foods or other major food segments
  3. Knowledge of the structures and processes in brick-and-mortar retail and/or discount retail
  4. Strong communication and negotiation skills
  5. Confident manner with a strong ability to inspire and motivate
  6. Very good knowledge of MS Office
